The recordum LVS/SEQ Sampler is a combination of a high quality Low Volume Sampler with a Mass Concentration Sensor to provide continuous readings of the PM trend and a Internet enabled data logging system to provide status-, trend- and diagnostic information over a web browser.
The recordum Mass Concentration Sensor uses a well proven optical method, the nephelometry.
It has a separate inlet and duct in order not to disturb the sampling stream of the sampler which is taken in accordance to relevant norms (EN 12341, EN14907).
It uses a light-scattering photometer with a near-IR LED, a silicon detector hybrid preamplifier and a source reference detector.
The light scattered is proportional to the particle concentration. This is the fastest particle
concentration measurement with high precision and very low detection limit. There might be a dependency on particle properties for the calculation of the mass concentration.
The recordum LVS/SEQ with Rrecordum Mass Concentration Sensor gives a continuous output to the datalogger of the Mass Concentration in microgram/m3 and can be presented in user defined averrage periods via the internet and provides an ideal mean for on-line overwiev about the situation development as well as for future research of the gravimetrical results ( i tis for 24h only with no additional information on eventual peaks over the day and night)
